Astrid Chan: "If you met someone rich and handsome like Raymond Lam in The mysteries of love, what will you do?" Tavia Yeung: "I will kneel down and ask him to be my boyfriend, haha" King Kong: "Hey, what if it's me?" Tavia Yeung: "Erm..." King Kong: "I think you will kneel down and then ask me to back off." (lolololololol hahaha from the crowd)
Astrid Chan: "The olden canto songs brought back memories." King Kong: "I have no idea, different age era bah."
When announcing Best On-Screen Couple... Moses Chan: "I remembered a long time ago I acted as Charmaine Sheh and Sonjia Kwok's father in Perish in the name of love." King Kong: "I think next time I would have to act as Charmaine's father too....that is unless Astrid acts as my mother.
King Kong said to Myolie when she took the character award: "Hey you forgot to thank someone." Myolie Wu: "Oh ya, I would like to thank Julian, scriptwriter, producer......" King Kong: "You missed out someone important." Myolie Wu: "Then I would like to thank him"??? "him" refers to Bosco after much pressure by MC to thanks Bosco. haha.
Julian Cheung: "While filming The rippling blossom, somone always came to the set to inspect." Bosco Wong: Give a "huh" look. King Kong: "Bosco where got time to inspect" Myolie Wu: "That's not truth, don't listen to Julian."

Not much to comment. Results is as expected. Those who come will naturally get an award. To make comparison, refer to last year award results. Only wanted to comment about on-screen couple. Judging from the weekly standings, it seems that there is biasness because first standings are either Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung or Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang. So a lesson to learn is do not sms your vote and let Starhub gain any monetary benefits since the awards are already pre-fixed. Internet voting should be fine if you have the time. I didn't know that Linda and Ron is quite fresh to Singaporeans that they didn't even get TV character award. haha. Have to come Singapore more. Glad that Kate Tsui got 2 awards. It a good encouragement for her. Hope she come to Singapore more since it's the first time she came. I bet Sheren Tang didn't bother to waste her time to attend, no recognition at all. On a side note, I notice that there are many HK PRs in Singapore. Feel so great to see so many people in Singapore supporting HK dramas! ^ ^ Feel free to share your thoughts about Starhub TVB awards results.
