My thoughts:
This is going to be a short review. Overall, please watched this show if you want to pass time, the casts in this drama was rather weak too. I personally dragged myself to finish watching this drama. The only turnaround for this series is when Sunny discovered that he is actually the son of the mayor and not an idler of the Tong family. The part where Sonijia was sent to jail due to tax avasion and the Tong family was under distress was only shown on screen for a short time, there is no big hurdle for them to cross as they easily got help from Sunny to resolve the issue. The part I find really sweet is when Sonijia discovered the story of the princess and the tortoise written by Sunny.
Raymond Wong played as So Fei being the head of the logistic gang. His character was also boring plus the part with Lin Xiawei makes it even more boring where she tried to make fun of him, always tagging along with him in order to spite Sonijia.
The part where the drama should expand should be the development of Tracy IP's character as I find her sinister when she was first introduced in the drama. Maybe some parts where she became bad etc, the aftermath of her character was handled carelessly too.
There is another part which is absolutely redundant and not funny at all. The Qing Dynasty people who are very retarded, doing funny stuffs such as stealing the lost treasure, digging hole and singing the opera (I can't stand their singing at all). Perhaps I am a serious person or this part is really retarded but I can still stand the humor in Awfully Lawful but definitely not this one.
