Yesterday Aimee Chan attended a shopping mall event and was very welcomed by the children there. One of the boys wouldn't let go of her hand, making a very funny scene. When speaking of Christmas, Aimee said that she spent it at work, but on Christmas Eve she took some time out to spend with her father who made a special trip back to HK from Canada to celebrate with her.

Although she spent Christmas at work, Aimee expressed that it was very enjoyable: "We exchanged gifts at the recording studio. I hope to continue to have jobs in the new year, that's what called good luck." Also, it was said that after Moses Chan and Bernice Liu broke up, Moses was 'targeted closely' by all the female artists on TVB. Aimee reveals that she and Moses play brother and sister in the new series The War at Heart, she joked and said that they developed a sibling relationship. She generously praised him: "He's a very good person, and a gentleman. He also gives me advice too. (Lots of girls are after him?) Often lots of girls are after good men. (Is he the type you like?) Never thought about that, he's my older brother in the series, I don't want cause a confusion in the relationships. In reality I'm just focusing on my work."

Yesterday afternoon, Bernice Liu, Roger Kwok and Annie Liu attended the sitcom's Show Me The Happy Winter Solstice dinner party. Moses Chan and Bernice Liu's romance ended has been the hot topic lately. Once Bernice saw reporters, she expressed that she has already clarified everything through a radio interview and will not respond anymore. When asked if she and Alastair are spending the Winter Solstice holiday together? Bernice said: "Today I'll be working in the studio until the next morning." When mentioning that Moses is in the studio next door shooting for The War at Heart, she said: "I didn't know! (In the same make-up room and still no fate to meet?) After outdoor shooting, I will shoot in the studio. (Bumped into each other?) Nope! We are colleagues, we do keep in touch." Asked about how she mentioned earlier that she knows who released all the gossips? She said: "I have already talked about it on the radio interview earlier, it is definitely not Moses Chan." Reporters kept asking why she didn't deny that Moses was the person who release the gossips the day before? Bernice's face immediately turned black and walked away.

As a good friend of Moses, Roger Kwok expressed that he has not kept in touch with Moses lately. Asked if he would introduce non-greedy women to Moses? He laughed: "And how do you know he has no money? It is not necessary to introduce girls in this generation." Roger and Bernice has collaborated for a period of time now, and he has not seen a male picking her up or dropping her off from work. Roger also reveals that after his pregnant wife (Cindy Au) medical examination, they found out that their baby is developing well, and is growing fast. However, they do not know if the baby is a boy or a girl yet. He laughed and said that the doctor was more anxious than they were. Roger said lately his wife has not been feeling well, and can only eat congee. His wife is currently 3 months pregnant and is expected to due in July. When the time comes, he'll be taking off from work to go welcome a new life into his family.

(Related News - Bernice's radio program interview)
[Singtao 12/21] In Eileen Cha's radio interview, Bernice was asked about her new rumors with wealthy Alastair Lam and implied Moses was the person who released the gossips. Bernice said: "Of course not, up until now the magazine reports are all not true. I am also unhappy seeing it. I don't want friends and audience to misunderstand. Friends also told me that things that are not true, must speak up. If not, then it is unfair. (Magazines said you stole someone's husband? Of course not, I have to clarify that the person who released the gossips is not Moses Chan, I am sure of this. I know who the person is in my heart. I will only do my best on my own part. (It was said you are 1 foot on 2 boats?) I have always said that I'm 1 foot on 7 boats, 5 of them are boyfriends, 2 are girlfriends. I just treat this as entertainment, every time I clarify it's difficult for myself, and it's not the truth." When asked her relationship with Alastair Lam? She said: "Friends, we are a group of English speaking friends. (Rumored your cohabiting with Alastair?) Going to a friend's house to have dinner and chat is called cohabiting, that is pretty funny."

Nancy Wu and Vincent Wong are rising in popularity after Gun Metal Grey. The day before, they attended a Christmas event as a couple team, earning money together! At the even, Nancy was dressed as a Dancing Queen and did gorgeous social dancing with Vincent. One dance starts the love. Also, the two played Speed Dating games with the guests. Then they played a game where they had to use their foreheads to hold onto a heart shaped ball, looks like Vincent was not afraid his girlfriend Yoyo Chen would get jealous. Vincent and Nancy were so compatible they looked like a real couple! The two also directed the single men and women, Nancy said: "First meeting, girls should put away the 'HK girl' image, don't have to rush, have to show off the gentle side in a girl."

Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang co-hosted a 10 table dinner gathering and invited the entire No Regrets crew to have dinner together. The cast who attended includes Nancy Wu, Elena Kong, Evergreen Mak, Susan Tse, Ben Wong and many more. Wayne bought several bottles of red wine with me and said no one goes home without being drunk. Asked if he gave a Christmas gift for himself? He expressed that he didn't, only gave his wife a watch.

Sheren reveals that earlier she went on a mini vacation with her family, and felt so loved. She also expressed that for now she won't be shooting any series. On Christmas, she'll be attending a preach meeting and frankly said that she hopes to participate in evangelization (spread of religion). Asked if she's participating in Church events because she wants to be like Wong Cho Lam and find her other half? She laughed: "Then I'll have to go find more single men when I go for evangelization!"

Producer Lee Tim Sing expressed that they will not be making a third installment. He frankly said: "If want to make a 3rd one, then find a different producer. I don't want to hog it all!" Speaking of the newcomers, Tim Gor frankly said he supports Him Law, but reporters said that he has too many rumors, Tim Gor said: "What are the youngsters doing!"

Raymond Wong and Natalie Tong won the "Most Improved Artist" awards together. Soon to be father, Raymond frankly said that he satisfied with his current status, and won't deliberately ask for a pay increase for milk. Natalie said winning an award is a type of certainty, and will patiently wait for others to give her a pay increase.

Many TVB FaDans and Siu Sangs gain popularity and start getting promoted after winning the "Most Improved Artist" award. Raymond modestly said that he was very lucky this time to win the award: "Coincidentally I had series with good public praises this year, many people watched and in fact the award is not a certainty in my acting." Jumped into the TV industry from film industry, Raymond frankly said for the time being he will only be focusing on shooting TV series, set a good foundation first. Soon, he will be shooting a pre-modern series, playing a half good half evil role.

Natalie felt that winning the award is a type of shock, and it is like receiving an 'A' on her personal report card on her TV acting career: "Getting good grades then should do even better later, there is no reason to stop and reward yourself just because of an award. So I won't take the initiative to ask for a pay increase." She is currently shooting a Qing dynasty series, and this is her first time playing a sour character. Natalie is grateful of TVB giving her so many opportunities to portray different roles: "This is also my first time shooting a Qing dynasty series, so I will go watch more costume dramas to learn from them and how they speak their lines."

The Last Goal

When asked if 'Best Actor & Actress' is their last goal? Raymond said that it is most important to be happy with your job: "My goal is to enjoy the acting process, if I am not enjoying myself, then how can audience enjoy my acting?" Natalie smiled and said that her goal is to make extra income in Mainland: "The series I'm in are rarely shown in Mainland, so I hope to be in several different types of series, increasing the amount of people in Mainland that knows my name and earn more money to help buy a property for my family!" Her current wish is to own a home that is "already paid off".

Linda Chung is currently shooting for new series Men and Women Chooses Residence and has not had the time to partner up with Wong He to earn extra income during the golden period. For this reason, Wong He 'fired' her and although Linda has to work, she is still happy: "Doesn't matter, but I'll be even happier if don't have to work. Actually several years in the industry, I had to work every year. I haven't celebrated with my parents and sister for over 6 years. (Next Christmas, bring a boyfriend to visit your family in Canada?) Of course! But, first I need to find one."

Speaking of the new year resolutions, Linda hopes to release her new album as soon as possible and to get agreement by viewers on all her roles. Of course she also hopes for good health, last year she had average health and this taught her to treasure the people around her, treasure life.

On the other side, Wong He although 'angry fired' Linda, he's still a good friend. When he saw her often having sleepless nights, he got her an aroma diffuser (for aromatherapy) as a 'dismissal fee' and he hopes she can get back to sleep. As for Christmas, Wong He has another 'new interest': "I will be having many stage performances in Guangzhou Province bars and will be spending it together with the 'yan jai'("little people" - meaning Chinese yuan)! It is (yan jai), not someone's wife (yan chai)!"

In the past year, regardless if it's Wong He or his friends, there has been great ups and downs. He has also learned a lot from his friends' serious consequences. As for himself, his career only got better in the last half year, he hopes to find a powerful extraordinary manager to help him break new grounds on his work outside of TV.

Although Bernice Liu Bik Yee and Moses Chan Ho always publicly denied their relationship, many insiders within the entertainment industry knew they were dating. When tabloids published photos of Bernice on a date with Alastair Lam, her six-year relationship with Moses ended in a dramatic fashion.

According to an inside source, Bernice had dated two men at the same time in the past. While dating Hawick Lau Hoi Wai, Bernice allegedly stole another woman’s boyfriend. When she first entered the industry, she befriended the owner of Mence Beauty, Mrs. Leung and her daughter, Vicky. Allegedly, Bernice fell for the man due to his wealth. In response to the rumors, Vicky said, “I will not respond to the question as it does not pertain to myself.”

In June, the paparazzi photographed Bernice partying on a yacht with a group of friends. In the photos, there was a tall American Born Chinese (ABC) man who stood by Bernice’s side all night. Why was the wealthy ABC man interested in Bernice if her romance with Moses was half-public? An inside source said, “Whether speaking to ad vendors or wealthy friends, Bernice always said that her pairing with Moses was arranged by TVB. She hinted that Moses did not prefer women and was ‘gay.’ So people outside the entertainment industry thought this was the truth.”

Bernice realized that Moses was deeply in love with her and thus successfully got out of each escapade. Moses chose to believe her in each incident. Afraid that Bernice would believe his rumors with female co-stars, Moses often drew clear boundaries from these rumors, including ones with Charmaine Sheh Si Man earlier this year.

Many friends were concerned about Moses’ on-again-off-again relationship with Bernice. When the press published photos of Bernice and Alastair together, Moses’ friends felt it was unfair for him and worried whether he would wake up from his reverie. Moses said calmly, “Prior to the press publishing the photos, I was unaware of the incident. I don’t want to look at it anymore!” Moses also indicated that he has not been in contact with Bernice since the incident. Was Moses angry? “I have always treated relationships in an understated manner. It is enough that I know it inside! I do not want her to have any negative press and do not want her to get hurt!” (If Bernice explained to you, will you go back to her?) “I think…it is best to focus on my career now. I don’t know how to answer!”

Regarding allegations that Bernice had a history of dating two men at the same time, Moses said, “There are always going to be many different rumors circulating. Bernice is a kind-hearted woman. When I see that she is happy, I am okay. Anyway, the past is the past!” (She said that you are gay?) “I have never heard of this. My response is the same: the past is the past!” Moses did not have anything negative to say about Bernice.

Bernice’s Response

In response to rumors that Bernice stole a boyfriend from the daughter of a beauty salon owner, she said that she was uncertain of who the tabloid report referred to and did not respond. (Did Bernice circulate rumors that said Moses Chan was gay?) Bernice did not answer directly but noted that she did not want to implicate friends and colleagues. Although she denied living together with Alastair Lam, she will not avoid having dinner with him. (Did Bernice only select wealthy friends?) “I don’t understand what that means. Since I was young, I made friends with good people, regardless of whether they have money or not.”

Bernice hinted that she knew the person who spoke anonymously with the tabloid. “The world is round. How you treat others, this will come back full-circle to you.” She emphasized this statement three times and said that retribution will fall on the person. Since Moses became a “victim,” Bernice said she was helpless on the matter.

Fala Chen joined TVB after being crowned as Miss Chinese International 2005. This year, besides winning the "Best Supporting Actress" award at the TVB Anniversary Awards, she also secured the first line FaDan spot. Though she spend Christmas at work in the last 5 years, but she did not complain: "I'll be frightened if I had nothing to do! I grew up in the U.S, the Christmas atmosphere there is different from Hong Kong. Christmas in the foreign countries is like Hong Kong's Lunar New Year, people will put serious work into decorating their homes, I really miss having a cup of hot coffee with my parents by the fireplace and would eat baked chicken. It's a very warm feeling." Although she came to HK along to develop her career, fortunately Fala is so busy she has no time to feel lonely. Also, her boyfriend is by herself giving her unlimited support, it is the same sweet feeling.

Speaking of her big plans for the new year, she already signed with a record company and will officially step into the music scene. She admitted that as a TVB artist jumping into the music scene, it is a must to change her image. Asked if she would go down the singer with ability route? Fala said: "Whatever you do, must have ability. Otherwise the road will be tough, I will do 100% homework, if I didn't have the heart, then I won't be going out to sing!" Actually besides music, Fala will also start developing in the film scene. She frankly said that she hopes to develop multi-habitats, but will not be in a rush: "Have to wait for opportunities to shoot movies, only will participate when the role is right. (It is hard for a TV artist to attract audience to buy movie tickets?) So have to work even harder, just have to do the best, audience will get into it."

Steven Ma and Selena Li were in Kowloon City shooting outdoor scenes for TVB new series Thunder of Forbidden City. In the series, the two have quite a bit of love scenes. As the series has already started shooting for over a month, Steven frankly said that he has to fight and speak his lines at the same time, so it has been difficult, he said: "This time for this series, filming has been difficult. Tomorrow on Winter Solstice, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, I have to work in the studio, no choice! Sacrifice the little me, let othe colleagues make some money. I hope married people can spend the holidays with family, this year's holidays I'll take it, next year I won't!"

Steven was asked if he'll be getting married next year? He said: "I don't know! This year there's me here to handle it all! (Getting married next year?) Not yet! Leave it to fate!" He frankly said that he can work through any holiday, but Lunar New Year he must get a break because there is special atmosphere for the Lunar New Year.

Praises Kenneth Ma a good guy

As for Selena Li, she expressed for this Christmas she doesn't have anything scheduled and if she has an opportunity she will go to a party. She said: "To me, Christmas is very important to me, it has the most love. (Have you found your lover then?) There is a pursuer, but not official yet. Within the upcoming year, we will keep it stable first." Asked if she hopes to 'fish a tortoise'? Selena said: "Of course I hope to find someone that is stabled financially! Women who already have children, chances of making money is reduced, but I will not choose a partner based on money. Dating someone who is too rich, first it is too troubling and second we both have different values. Tried before, got to know before, just doesn't match!" When speaking of her co-star Kenneth Ma have always been said to be a good guy, asked if she would consider him? She laughed: "We won't! I hope to find someone outside of the industry, I must say Kenneth is a good guy, but not good for me."

TVB announced that last week’s prime time’s ratings, the three series “Show Me The Happy”, “Twilight Investigation” and “Links to Temptation” were all decreasing. The other programs’ ratings were also only average, only last weekend’s “Fuk Luk Sau’s Concert” went up by 5 points.

Besides this, the Broadcasting Authority received four complaints on Links To Temptation. The complaints were against lead cast, Fala Chen, saying that her character in the series is materialistic, betraying her own body, there were bathing scenes and hardselling pole dancing.

Yesterday Bernice Liu, Liza Wang, Ha Yu and Christine Kuo attended the promotional event to TVB new series Home Troopers. Recently, there have been several reports on Bernice starting a new relationship with the wealthy Alastair Lam behind Moses Chan's back. It was also reported that the two are cohabiting, which angered Moses so he broke up with her. When Bernice was at the promotion, she appeared weak and seem to avoid the media's questions. She said: "I have seen the magazine reports, the reports are not the truth. I have always said Moses is a friend, colleague and I believe some things are not true. I also don't know if 'someone' had said 'the past is the past' before. (You called 'someone' like a stranger, is that someone Moses?) Yes! (After the report was published, did you contact him to talk about it?) I don't ask, I won't respond to false reports!" Bernice admitted that the recent news on her has damaged her image, and affected her family and friends.

Denounced the person who stirred up news will get punishment

Later Bernice was asked if she only meets rich people? She said: "I don't focus on that, meeting friends is based on them personally. (Are you cohabiting with anyone now?) No, I am cohabiting with my dog. (The report said that you borrowed Hawick Lau to get through the issue and stole someone's boyfriend?) I will not respond to false reports! I know who said this, this world is round, how they treat people, will definitely come back to them. (Will get punished?) Yes!" But Bernice did not reveal who this person was.

Kar Ying Gor will not retire

As it was rumored she told pursuers that Moses is gay, Bernice did not respond directly: "Being in the industry, there will be negative news sometimes. Can eat salty fish, deserved to be thristy! (Moses angered and broke up with you?) I haven't seen that report, I don't know if he had personally said it! (So many negative news, do a self-reflection?) Treat it as promotions."

Also, towards the magazine reports saying that Law Kar Ying has caught a weird illness, Liza said helplessly: "We have already said there is an illness, but it's not anything weird. Also, Kar Ying is already gotten better, but the media is still digging up on the issue again. (Kar Ying Gor will retire?) How can he retire? He is so active, can't retire in this profession."

This year's TVB Anniversary Awards 2010 ends with Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang crowned as TV King and Queen for their roles in No Regrets. Stepping into 2011, TVB already planned the 3 big productions including "Lau Sing" Wayne Lai's Big Eunuch (大太监), "Princess" Charmaine Sheh's breakthrough role as the 10 year old mentally challenged girl (Colorful World of Sister Fa) and the popular team Fun With Liza and Gods comedy series version. Now, which one of these big productions does viewers anticipate most? Wayne Lai's Qing Dynasty Eunuch? Charmaine's mentally challenged breakthrough? Or the comedic Fuk Luk Sau (FLS)? The results are based on a survey of audience.

Your Most Anticipated TVB series 2011?
1. [36%] Big Eunuch (Wayne Lai, Michelle Yim)
2. [22%] Colorful World of Sister Fa (Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam)
3. [14%] Fuk Luk Sau.com (Liza Wang, Wong Cho Lam, Johnson Lee, Louis Yuen)
4. [28%] Other
(Survey based on 50 people)

TV King Wayne partners up with another good actress Michelle Yim for Big Eunuch. This time in the series, Wayne will be playing the powerful Big Eunuch of Chinese History, Lee Lin Ying with a Ying and Yang temper. As the great right hand man to Empress Dowager (played by Michelle Yim), Lee Lin Ying's life is a legend. "Wayne has never been an eunuch before, but remember one time he pretended to be Roman Tam and performed the song Persian, he was a little devilish. Not only that, this time this is definitely a challenge to his acting, so really anticipate to see how this TV King is as Lee Lin Ying!" A viewer felt that Wayne's acting is capable of being Lee Lin Ying's complicated life, should be pretty hyped because this is one of the most focused productions next year.

The second one is Colorful World of Sister Fa, which is also voted by audience to be one of the most anticipated 2011 TVB series based on the sales presentation. Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam lead this series about a mentally challenged girl. This year losing out on the TV Queen title, some people believed Charmaine's role as Lau Sam Ho in last year's Beyond The Realm of Conscience had no character and does not allow development on her acting. This year her Princess Chiu Yeung role in Can't Buy Me Love is the ancient version of "Chuk Kwan Ho" (Return of the Cuckoo) and was not a breakthrough either. For these reasons, it is reasonable that Charmaine lost the TV Queen title in the last two years. However, next year for Colorful World of Sister Fa, she plays a 10 year old mentally challenged girl, and should be a breakthrough. Indeed, many mentally challenged roles has won awards and got popular like Forest Gump and 1993's What's Eating Gilbert Grape. It's the 'mentally challenged roles, TV Queen is hot favorite', so Charmaine no longer needs to be the 'remainder girl' Princess and switches to be mentally challenged. Next year, Charmaine probably will be pushed to the front line: "I think Charmaine basically is a little girl herself, this time partnering up with Raymond Lam, I really anticipate her childish expressions as the 10 year old mentally challenged girl. Also Raymond has played the handsome boy for several years, this time he plays a young master who takes advantage of relationships to reach his goals. There should be a fresh new feeling."

The third series is Fuk Luk Sau.Com (福禄寿.com). This year FLS has been quite popular, 3 plus 1 as the intimation kings and even got their own concert in November. Wong Cho Lam continues to be a girl, Johnson Lee continues as the Pop King and Louis Yuen continues as the Lau Mik Suet, not afraid of old tactics, as long as it's accepted. Next year, FLS will start a pre-modern series version. The story is set in the 60s, Liza Wang is lacking investigators to help her and invited the FLS to investigate weird cases.

According to the Land Registry records, Yoyo Mung recently sold out her 10 year home for HK$6 million and moved into a HK$2 million home in Fortress Metro Tower, Fortress Hill. Clearly she has earned HK$4 million. Yesterday Yoyo accepted an interview over the phone and expressed: "Actually it is a Realtor friend who told me that the house will have to be remodeled after 10 years, I didn't want to go through the trouble and also the price was right, so I decided to sell it. This is my first house that I invested in my lifetime, very successful."

Selling her house and profited, Yoyo was asked if she will go buy another one? She said: "The housing prices are too high now, I won't be buying another one for now, will just be renting first. Will wait until the market gets better before buying."

Also, Yoyo's contract with TVB ended in September, she plans to go develop outside and will change her contract style with TVB. Asked if she's changing to a 1-2 series per year contract with TVB? She said: "Still discussing, but I am not in a rush because I'm still discussing with other companies too."

Have been with TVB for 10 years, Yoyo reveals her reason of leaving: "I have been with TVB for 10 years already, before it was because I had to look after my family, but now that my mother passed away half a year ago, I hope to have some freedom back. Before I went to Mainland to shoot a series and felt that I could handle it, so I decided to develop there."

Often getting photographed by the media with rich boy Alastair Lam, Bernice Liu still remains in a great mood. When she was shooting for TVB sitcom Show Me The Happy, she was often seen texting. Her co-star Roger Kwok announced he's going to become a father for the second time and will have a show to attend on Christmas Eve with Bernice later.

Recently, Bernice has been closely interacting with Alastair, and was even photographed holding hands and own a single home in Repulse Bay. Looks like she has made some success in her love life! The day before, she was working on sitcom Show Me The Happy like normal, and was bitten by a few mosquitoes. However, Bernice did not complain at all, she just told her assistant: "Have another two bites!"

When she didn't have to film, Bernice stood aside quietly to read the script, when suddenly reporters started taking photos. She looked up and smiled at the camera, then reporters discovered that when she was waiting to film, she was often texting by the road side. Wonder if she's texting her new boyfriend, to cure her lovesick pain.

As the sitcom is a comedy, always bringing along happiness, just like Roger Kwok who will soon become a father once again: "Pretty lucky! Because Bernice and I are already gonna do a show together on Christmas Eve. Then later may have some performances at shopping mall events." Asked if Bernice is in a new relationship? Roger joked: "Basically I am not a noisy guy. Unless the she tells me, I will definitely congratulate her! But I won't go ask her on my own!"

Although Roger does not get into his partner's personal life, Bernice is very concerned of Roger's entire family. Roger said: "Because Bernice's sister has kids, so whenever there is some type of activities for children, like new playgroups, free children activities, music performances and much more, she will become a 'reporter' and save my wife and I lots of time. She is really good, very enthusiastic."

First time working with a Western girl, how does it feel? Roger joked: "I can finally get a taste of the Western girls! Bernice's personality is very optimistic, so I have no pressure. This time, it's very enjoyable, it would be best if we could shoot for another year, haha!"

Also, it was said that Moses Chan is "kept in the dark" and didn't break up with Bernice yet, so when he's working he's often appearing lonely and sad. Reporters called Moses Chan for a response on Bernice's new relationship with Alastair Lam. Asked if he feels hurt being treated like that? He said: "Leave it! (Have hard feelings?) Don't say that, leave it! The issue has a lot of people concerned about me, everything is normal. (Congratulate her?) I will not respond! Before I have always been low-key, it is the same now. I hope the issue can go by as soon as possible." He frankly said that he has not been affected by the issue.

Hey Just TVB, while I work on The Comeback Clan review, you can read the past review that I wrote. I barely write review. My friend wrote a War and Beauty Review but I did not want to post it without his permission. This Moments of Endearments Review was a review I wrote in the summmer.

My own "Moments of Endearment" Review Yay!?

main casts: Paul Chun, Nick Cheung, Miriam Yeung, Louisa So, Michael Tse, and Gigi Fu

supporting casts: Kingdom Yuen, Felix Lok, Sherming Yiu, and Evergreen Mak

other casts: Kwok Fung, Mary Hon and Nick Cheung's stepmother and stepsister

Timmy Ho was a cameo in this series who plays Miriam Yeung's cheated boyfriend in the beginning.

Basically this series is a relaxing family series about love affairs.

My summary:
Paul Chun plays the good loving daddy (like his role in Family Man) who love his daughter Miriam Yeung. Even though Nick Cheung is supposedly the main character in this series, I would say Paul Chun is the main one since I see him shows up all the time. Back to the subject, after Kingdom Yuen got heartbroken two times and was divorced twice, Paul Chun is more careful of choosing a boyfriend for her daugher (Miriam Yeung). Paul's wife died long time ago so he loves his daugher very much. He worries about his daugther so much that he slacks on his work. Paul is an insurance agent. Louisa So (Paul's boss) got tired of Paul's laziness and lack of motivation so she told Paul to take a class about insurace to gain more experience. Because of Nick's excellent work, Louisa So told nick to join another group. Paul Chun misunderstood Nick of backstabbing him in front of Louis So. Unfortunately Nick dated Miriam Yeung at the wrong time, when Paul got to take a class, Nick got promoted. Paul used many strategies to seperate Nick and Miriam Yeung. Then Paul accepted Nick because Mary Hon (who plays Gigi Fu's mother) that he can't be so hard headed and have to let Miriam have more freedom. After Nick Cheung and Miriam Yeung got married, a few conflicts caused them to fight.

Character Analysis:

Paul Chun: He did a good job by playing a loving father and I can tell he really loves his daughter in this series. He also did a good job in playing a jealous man when he's afraid of losing his daugther to Nick. He pairs with Louisa in this series, and at first Louisa's father didn't accept him because a fortune teller(who is also a con man) tells Louisa's dad that Louisa can't marry any guy who has a zodiac sign of a rat. I would give Paul Chun a rate of 5/5 stars.

Nick Cheung: His character is nothing special, he is just a regular insurance agent who go to work to have money to take care of Miriam Yeung. I like the scenes where Nick and Miriam fights in the beginning, but it got boring after they are married. I would give Nick a 4/5 stars in acting.

Miriam Yeung: She is Paul Chun's daughter in this series and depends on her father after she gets married. She always goes to her father's house whenever she gets mad at Nick Cheung. But I gotta say she is pretty in this series with medium hair. I didn't think she was really pretty in "A Taste of Love" in her short hair. Her sub song in this series is pretty good. I would give Miriam a 3/5 stars in term of acting.

Michael Tse: A leftout character but is also important. He plays Nick Cheung's best friend in this series. He's a straight guy who acts like a female. His scenes are quite funny. He is gullible and too gentle so he got used by his ex-girlfriend (Sherming Yiu) many times. Speaking of Sherming Yiu, I haven't seen her onscreen since The Biter Bitten where she also plays a bitchy girl. Back to the topic, Sherming plays a model in this series who uses Michael to stop the bad rumors about her. I would give Michael Tse a 4/5 stars in term of acting.

Gigi Fu: She plays Michael Tse's girlfriend and Miriam's best friend and felt pity for Michael because he got used by Sherming many times. Gigi cares for Michael Tse and exposed Sherming's plan to Michael but he didn't believe her. In term of acting, I would give Gigi a 3.5 stars.

Louisa So: She plays Paul Chun's boss in this series. She is a highly motivated boss and expect everyone to work hard in her insurance company. At first she thinks Paul Chun is lazy but then she starts to fall in love with him. I will give Louisa a 3.5 stars in terms of acting.

Kingdom Yuen: She is Paul Chun's unfortunate sister who got divorced twice due to bad relationships. But luckily in the end she meets an honest boyfriend (Felix Lok) who listens to her and buy her the necklace that she likes. I gives Kingdom a 3.5 stars in term of acting.

Felix Lok: He appears in the middle-end in this series, he plays the honest worker and boyfriend of Kingdom Yuen. I give Felix 3.5 stars in term of acting.

Evergreen Mak: He doesn't have much screentime in this series, he is Miriam's cousin who is crazily in love with her but Miriam doesn't like him. He ends up with Nick Cheung's stepsister in the end. I give him a 3/5 stars in term of acting.

Couples:

1. Paul Chun and Louisa So: Funny that they are dating secretly because Louisa's father doesn't approve any boyfriend who has a zodiac sign of a rat beause of a fortune teller. Louisa's father really likes Paul (before he knew Paul was a year of a rat) because he brings him good luck but after Paul told him that he was the year of a rat, he was wondering if what the fortune teller was telling the truth. When the fortune teller met Paul, The fortune teller told Louisa's dad that Paul used to have a wife and he currently live with his daughter.

2. Nick Cheung and Miriam Yeung: This couple is too young to get married, I thought they got married too early in this series. I guess the scriptwriter just want show some conflcts between Nick and Miriam after they are married. The first fight between the couples was when Miriam went shopping and he foot got injured. Nick Cheung was played by a crazy old man walking around the street the whole day and pretending to be an insurance agent. Nick got mad at Miriam for not cooking dinner for him, Miriam got mad at Nick for yelling at her and not caring for her. I thought the second conflict about Miriam got mad at Nick Cheung for spending less time with her for work, and she was jealous of Nick talking to his ex-girlfriend was draggy and resolved too fast. They should have shown slowly how Miriam forgives Nick. The problem with this couple is they got married too early and they never settle their dispute and let each other explains their situation which makes them have some issues during their marriage.

3. Michael Tse and Gigi Fu: Funniest couple in this series. One funny scene I can think of was when Gigi and Michael Tse was arguing when Gigi accidently threw a magazine at Michael Tse. Another funny scene was when Gigi and Michael Tse goes to the same taxi, Michael Tse wants to go to work but Gigi wants to chase a charming dentist. Later on, Gigi is always there to help Michael Tse out and cares for him a lot. I felt sad for Gigi that Michael didn't believe her when Sherming Yiu pretended to have cancer.

4. Felix Lok and Kingdom Yuen: The most honest couple in this series who really love each other. Felix Lok bought everything that Kingdom Yeung likes but in the end when Felix Lok leaves, Kingdom cried so much because she thought Felix wanted to hide from her because she is too demanding. But it revealed that Felix went away to have a surgery and he didn't tell Kingdom because he thought she was sad because he didn't appreciated her tea and he doesn't want her to worry.

Favorite character: Paul Chun
I was against him of seperating Nick and Miriam all the time at the beginning but I can tell he really love his daughter. He saves all his money for his daughter and pay the house and buy food for his daughter after she got married. He barely spend any money for him.

Least Favorite character: Sherming Yiu for using Michael Tse so many times. The first time she used Michael Tse to stopped her bad rumors about being a slut. The 2nd time she used Michael to break Michael's relationship with Gigi.

*Favorite scene: When Nick Cheung was riding a bike to meet Miriam Yeung for their first date. Nick lost Miriam's love doll keychain on a lake. He went down the rocks to pick up their love doll key chain that Miriam gave him. Miriam was searching for Nick and worried about him. They finally found each other on the pond and decided to get married. I also like the sub song sung by Miriam on the background.

Romantic scene:

When Nick Cheung and Miriam Yeung danced with each other at the ball in the beginnning.

Funny scenes:

1. When Michael Tse keep on touching Miriam's hands and she felt digusted. Michael thought that Miriam liked her and he confessed his love and then Mriam yelled that she likes Nick Cheung.

2. Any scenes with Michael Tse and Gigi Fu together is funny

3. When Nick Cheung told his customer that Paul Chun is really good at playing golf and he keeps on praising Paul Chun. It's also funny how Paul and Nick keep on messing up their customer during their meeting, because of personal reasons.

Ending: Good Ending and gather all the couples together in a restaurant. Glad Paul Chun won best Daddy award on Father's day.

Must watch: Watch it if you are a fan of Paul Chun and Michael Tse. Don't expect a huge role of Nick Cheung in here. I would recommend this series if you want a relaxing family and love series.

I would recommend this series for the fans who like series like Love Bond and Family Man.

I would rate this series 4 out of 5 stars because of the strong casts and good series but -1 star for rushed ending of the love couples.

Brief summary:

The subtle relationship between Barrister SHING WAI-SHUN (Steven Ma) and pole dancer HUNG LONG-KIU (Fala Chen) begins with a cell phone. KIU has been treating SHUN hot and cold. On top of this, he also finds her somewhat unpredictable. He decides to check her out secretly. His good friend, KWAN HO-CHING (Yoyo Mung) discovers that KIU is going out with rich businessman KO WING-TAI (Lau Tan). Under SHUN’s questioning, KIU confesses she is coveting TAI’s money, telling him to relinquish hope. It turns out that a mysterious man, who has been close, at hand is controlling KIU. Laying bare the darkest side of human nature, Links to Temptation is a thriller about morality, money, greed and arrogance.

Credits: Astro On Demand

My Thoughts: This series seems interesting. Hope the cases are good. Fala Chen's role seems like Linda Chung in A Journey Called Life. Yoyo Mung as a villain reminds me of her in Heart of Greed but she wasn't exactly a villain in HOG. I can't really imagine Timmy Hung pairing up with Yoyo Mung since he looks so young.

He smiled: "Now that we use less milk, have to go back and work hard in earning more milk money again! Plus, we just moved to a new house, so will see what we can do to make more money."

As both Roger and Raymond are fathers for the second time, he said: "Congrats to Roger, that time he said he wanted another child, now there are more companions like Ada Choi, Roger, and Raymond Wong. I will soon be starting a new series with Raymond Wong, we'll have more topics to talk about."

When she found out about Roger announcing the pregnancy yesterday, she said: "I already know, but don't know the sex of the baby. In fact, my older sister also is pregnant with her second child, it's a boy. My group of friends who have children do share their childcare experiences with me. (When is it your turn?) Huh! I'll just play with other people's babies first, no rush."

Currently in Mainland filming, Gallen Lo was very excited to learn of both Roger and Ada Choi's good news. He said: "Of course I congratulate them. (Do you have plans to have a baby?) Planning, my wife and I are working hard!"

The expected due date is after Lunar New Year, then I have to start a new series. Now I am preparing a lot of stuff with my wife, like the baby crib and baby bottles."

Yesterday Roger Kwok announced the good news that his wife Cindy Au is pregnant with their second child and he will become a father for the second time in the year of the rabbit.

2 months pregnant, Cindy Au has not deliberately taken time off to rest yet, her life goes as normal. Yesterday afternoon at 4pm, the slightly chubby Cindy was seen in Kowloon French Hospital with her son and mother. Then the family went to a nearby cafe for lunch.

After lunch, reporters went forward to congratulate her. Cindy was not afraid her fetus would be sensitive and admitted her 2 month pregnancy. She laughed: "I didn't mean to say it, but since everyone is so concerned about us, then we decided to announce it. Also we are Christians, we aren't superstitious. The child will develop and grow in the stomach, God will have arrangements, so I don't mind to announce the news."

Asked if they had plans earlier on to have another child? She said: "After having one, I know they like to have a companion to grow with, and we do hope to lift off some of the heavy responsibilities for our son when we get old." As to if the baby is a boy or girl, Cindy does not know yet, but if the baby is a girl, she can dress her up and expressed that it's already more than enough to have two kids.

On the other side, Roger Kwok accepted Eileen Cha's radio interview yesterday and personally admitted that he is becoming a father for the second time. He expressed that on the day his wife went for the check-up, he wasn't able to accompany her due to work. Once he found out about the good news, he was so excited he almost looked crazy. Roger also reveals that Cindy has it extremely difficult during her pregnancy, often vomiting at fixed times like an alarm clock. He said: "We currently don't know the expected due date yet, and will accompany his wife through the postpartum rest and will take advantage of the next 2 months that he doesn't need to go to Mainland for filming to spend more time with his wife." Roger also exposed that his wife had a change in appetite after she got pregnant, often wanting to eat soy sauce with rice in the middle of the nights, making him smile nonstop.

The night before, TVB's Anniversary Awards 2010 came to an end, the dusts to the results are settled. However, audience unsatisifaction of the results is upsurging, scolding that TVB cheated the results, giving Can't Buy Me Love the "Best Series" award and felt pity for No Regrets. TVB and the Broadcasting Authority received 31 complaints! Later, TV King Wayne Lai said: "Just watching the clips, I thought No Regrets was very good." No Regrets producer Lee Tim Shing, lead actor Wayne Lai and lead actress Sheren Tang felt very disappointed to losing out on the Best Series award, it is a regret!

There are also opinions on the "My Favorite TV Male Character" award where Raymond Lam beats Moses Chan. Audience scold that TVB was biased towards Raymond and sacrificed Moses, causing him only to get "Best Professional Performance" pork award. However, Moses generously expressed that he won Netizen's great praises.

The Broadcasting Authority received 15 complaints yesterday that the "Best Series" results was unfair. TVB Foreign Affairs Director (Tsang Sing Ming) expressed that TVB received 32 different opinions from audience. 16 of them said No Regrets should have won Best Series, 4 of them said Raymond Lam should not have won "My Favorite TV Male Character", 4 of them admired No Regrets entire crew, 2 of them said Wayne Lai's win was well deserved, 5 of them said Charmaine Sheh's Can't Buy Me Love performance was a breakthrough, should have won TV Queen, 1 suggested that Can't Buy Me Love and No Regrets should have won Best Series together.

CBML's producer Mui Siu Ching expressed that CBML and NR have their own fans, there will be different opinions. What made her most happy was that she received sincere congratulations from Tim Gor. Everyone put in a lot of effort into the series. To her, the awards ceremony has already ended, she is now currently busy preparing for Forensic Heroes 3.

Tim Gor frankly said that he felt very disappointed, the moment when the results were announced, everyone was stiff for a moment, but the results have already been decided, he feels helpless! Tim Gor is happy for Wayne and Sheren, they deserved their awards. Evergreen Mak is also very outstanding, Dominic Lam just lost a little.

Yesterday Wayne expressed on a website that he was disappointed in losing Best Series award. It is his greatest regret, and it is hard to hide his disappointment despite winning TV King. The other night, Wayne reveals backstage that the award presenter Johnnie To though he didn't watch the series, but just watching the clip he felt it was a very good series. Wayne deeply admired Johnnie To's vision, wisdom and admiration for No Regrets. This represents the entire NR crew and all NR fans in the entire world salutes to Johnnie To!

Sheren Tang felt that to able to win the award with Wayne, that she won Best Actress, there are no more regrets because based on her past experiences, Series award does not necessarily get as much as attention as TV King and Queen overseas. However, of course she does hope NR could have won Best Series too.

TVB's Rosy Business (RB) series part 1 and 2 received high ratings and won public praises. Although at the TVB Anniversary Awards, No Regrets lost the Best Series award, but there is an idea to make RB a trilogy. However, lead actor Wayne Lai felt that it's better to stop when it's still good, he does not support making a Rosy Business 3. It was said that RB producer Lee Tim Shing expressed that he has an idea for a third installment. As RB was set in the Qing Dynasty, while NR was set in the pre-modern era, so the third one should be in the modern era, but this is challenging and hard to handle. Wayne said: "I feel that it's time to stop when it's good. I don't support a third installment."

TVB Executive Chairman (Norman Leung) invited the entire NR crew for a celebration last night and explained the unfairness complaints at the TVB Anniversary Awards. Towards NR losing Best Series Award to Can't Buy Me Love, and led to criticisms. Norman supported that the results were reasonable, he said CBML is this year's highest rated series and NR has their own advantages. Every award presented was based on a scoring system. Raymond Lam winning My Favorite TV Male Character Award also led to criticisms, reporters asked Norman if he were to choose between Moses and Raymond, who would he choose? He said: "I can't choose, Moses and Raymond both deserve an award, just like TV King's battle between Moses and Wayne, it is hard to choose." Wayne also helped out and supported Raymond winning the My Favorite TV Male Character Award, he said that a lot of the audience likes Raymond. When liking a person, there are different characters and there is no standard. He also felt that Moses performance was done very well.

Last night, GM Stephen Chan, Catherine Tsang, Virgina Lok and other TVB executives attended the celebration. Virgina said that before the awards ceremony she did not dare to invited Wayne and Sheren Tang to sign a management contract to avoid controversy in the awards. She currently hopes with the most sincerity, longest contract and silver bullet policy to invite them to collaborate. Virgina expressed: "Sheren's manager Helen is my long time good friend. I won't win her favorite, besides Helen retires. As for Wayne's manager is his wife, their contract is for life."

Sheren felt touched by Virgina Lok's contract offer, she laughed and said if her manager Helen really does retire, only then will she consider signing with TVB. Asked if she'll buy a house to reward herself for becoming TV Queen? Sheren said that paying off the house to her is a punishment.

Appearing in a tight black dress and three inch high heels, pregnant Ada Choi Siu Fun appeared at a promotional event with husband, Max Zhang Jin. Ada admitted that her appetite had changed after becoming pregnant, “The smell of hot pot and fried foods make me want to vomit. I like to eat curry and sometimes, I even want to eat it in the middle of the night!”
Max cried after learning that Ada was pregnant. “Max knew of the pregnancy results first. He considered fooling me that the results were negative.” Ada did not want to reveal the number of months in which she has been pregnant, as she did not want to discuss the details. Allegedly, Ada had to endure pain throughout her pregnancy. Tabloids claimed that Ada was manic depressive since becoming pregnant. Pointing out that the tabloid’s referenced photos in the articles were from last year, Ada admitted that she had previously taken spinal pain suppressants, which has been discontinued for one year.
Wrapping up her mainland filming next month, Ada will stop working for the remainder of her pregnancy. Since Ada and Max own homes in Hong Kong, Beijing and Chongqing, they will live at the various properties after the baby is born.

TVB Anniversary Awards 2010 was held last night and presented 15 awards. No Regrets swept the 4 big role awards, the leading role and supporting role. The other popular series Can't Buy Me Love did not lose it all and got Best Series. TV King and Queen went to Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang respectatively as predicted by [Oriental Daily]. Charmaine Sheh won My Favorite TV Female Character, and the popular Moses Chan just got the 'pork' award!

TV King Wayne Lai happily lifted up his award and said: "Thank you TVB for growing me for years. I thought after last year's acceptance speech, I won't have another opportunity to say it again. Lau Sing is a role I really like, I will remember for life!"

TV Queen Sheren Tang had the whole studio cheering and applauding when she won, but the award presenter (Dik Lung) forgot to present the award to her. Sheren happily said: "Slient diligent work can be seen by people! Thank you God for giving me a crazy special characteristic, that allows me to be able to do well on my acting." Sheren did not forget to thank God: "Many people have no opportunity to stand on this stage, many people are silently working, pulling all nighters, it is difficult to film a TV series! Thank you God for giving me so many life experiences!" She then urged everyone to believe Lau Sing and Miss Nine's true love, watch the series and learn to cherish the people in life and world peace.

Charmaine Sheh wins Most Favorite Female Character

Later when Wayne and Sheren were interviewed backstage, the two happily expressed they won together creating history is extremely rare! As No Regrets lost the Best Series award, Wayne said: "The entire crew and cast, each one of us worked very hard, but willing to gamble willing to accept lost!" Asked if he signed a TVB contract? He said: "Not related, have to see the conditions, many factors!" Sheren expressed that this proves that the 'contract in exchange for awards' rumors does not confirm, both of them expressed that no one has approached them to talk about a contract.

Charmaine depended on Princess Chiu Yeung to win My Favorite Female Character Award, she maintained her smile on stage: "Very happy! This role is my most favorite! And have to thank the group of behind-the-scenes." Asked if she was disappointed in losing the TV Queen award? She said: "I am a little disappointed, but won't be unhappy! Audience liking it is more important than winning awards. She expressed that she won't be celebrating because she has to take an early flight back to Mainland tomorrow.

Raymond Lam wrote back to thank Mona Fong

As My Favorite Male Character Award went to TVB's favorite Raymond Lam, and also the TVB.com Popularity Award, asked if Mona Fong's 12 true message was in effect? Raymond said: "Then will have to count every word! (Win award again?) I'm very satisfied! Already surpass the expected!" He also expressed that he will give a written message back to Mona Fong on his Come 2 Me Concert DVD. Asked if he will write: 'No words can describe the gratefulness'? He said: "Something like that! (Afraid of more gossips?) There has always been a lot of noise." Popular Moses Chan only got Best Professional Performance Award, he smiled and said that he is not disappointed, he is a professional at comedy and making coffee, but on stage he said that "Best Actor Award is colder than water", Netizens made noise feeling that the award was a 'pork award'! (TN: In HK, 'pork award' traditionally means that everyone gets a share of pork, hence pork award. Netizens are saying that TVB gave Moses the award to make up for not getting any of the big awards.)

When Sandra Ng presented the Best Actor award, she stirred up the lively atmosphere, and even before she looked at the results she announced that Wayne was the winner. She also said Felix Wong wanted to say "totally very best". As Felix was on the Top 5, but he insisted on a no show last night, clearly still have issues with TVB.
