My thoughts:
It's the time of the year again, congratulations to all the winners!
This year anniversary award show is one of the most memorable one. Not because it is hosted in Macau but all my favourite actors and actresses managed to get an award. Super Congratulations to Moses Chan, two-time Best Actor (the last time he got the award was in 2007, even before this blog even started and at that point of time I am not really into TVB dramas yet so glad I could celebrate his achievement off-screen), quite innovative of the production team to ask fellow actors' wives who are also actresses to come forward to deliver the awards.
Another best part of the award ceremony is to see many familiar guest presenters Gallen Lo, Bowie Lam, Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung. So happy to see Raymond and Tavia on stage, it has been a long time, they should have ask Raymond to have a song segment in the awards ceremony. The part where male host Karl Ting asked Best Actress Charmaine Sheh to blow on the whistle, it brings back many memories from Return of the Cuckoo which coincidentally is filmed in Macau with music Wishing Kwan Well 祝君好 playing in the background.
If you have not watch any of the TVB dramas yet for year 2023, my recommended series are 1) My Pet My Angel 2) Secret Door 2 3) Dead Ringer 4) Mission Run 2.0 5) The Invincible 6) Queen of News in order of preference. ^_^ P.S. Queen of News is a bit over-rated, if not for Charmaine the show might be a flop.
